Disasters in Hybrid Warfare: Knowledge as Salvation, which will take place on 26 August 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Dear colleagues!

The International Interactive Academy of Geoinformation Science together with SIDCON and partners invite you to take part in the roundtable for representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, Kyiv Association of Military Attachés, leading Ukrainian media and experts entitled Disasters in Hybrid Warfare: Knowledge as Salvation, which will take place on 26 August 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Media Center of the Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions (GDIP), Kyiv.

The following conceptual issues will be discussed during the roundtable:

  1. Hybrid warfare: from theory to practice — elitism or mass phenomenon?
  2. Deterioration begins in the mind: can an intellectual revolution save us from helplessness?
  3. Cyberjura: a war of technologies or visions of the future — who will prevail, and what is the role of the human being?
  4. NATO’s hybrid position on Ukraine: from the ‘war with Russia must not spill over from Ukraine’s borders’ principle to strategic uncertainty in which ‘Russia is not an aggressor, but merely a long-term threat’. What kind of strategic counteraction should Ukraine pursue for the sake of European resilience?
  5. Countering hybrid wars — knowledge and education.
    The event will bring together:
    ● Yurii KOHUT, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, CEO of SIDCON Consulting Company LLC;
    ● Oleksandr KHARA, diplomat, director of the Centre for Defence Strategies
    ● Ivan HALENKO, PhD in Engineering, Vice President of the International Interactive Academy of Geoinformation Science.
    Andrii Kulykov will moderate the discussion. Are there answers to the challenges of our time in books? What have we missed? The main narratives in the books: A New Type of Hybrid Warfare as a Threat to the National Security of States; Modern Hybrid Warfare Technologies; Hybrid Warfare (History, Politics, Security); Cyber Warfare and Security Ensuring for Critical Infrastructure Facilities; and Energy Wars as a Threat to the European Union Countries’ National Security.
    Sponsor of the event: Charitable Organisation ‘White Hammer Charitable Foundation’ (UAVs and related technologies, cybersecurity, PSYOP, Cyberjura). Ukraine, Kyiv. EDRPOU code 39610609.
